1911 Break Down & Staying Strong

Whats Up?

I felt that I needed to write this post today because all of the recent gun control issues going on in our country. I also want to make sure we’re staying strong as well as we take a look at how to correctly disasemble a 1911 Colt hand gun and feel good doing it. As a gun owner it’s important to clean and take care your weapon like you clean and take care of your body. Both are eqally important! However without the health of the body we are nothing. Keep that in mind!

Check this sick 1911 out!

Yeah this bad boy is sick isn’t it?  Ha-ha I love these 1911′s, there’s something about how they look and feel in your hand that make me fall in love with these little suckers. It’s even better when you can disassemble this handgun with huge forearms and a strong physique. That’s as American as it gets! Ha Ha.

I don’t know about you, but when is the last time you’ve seen an action movie with a little shrimp holding a gun kicking all sorts of ass? I can’t remember one time that I’ve ever seen something like that, but I’m sure someone is thinking about it. Before they go to far I’ve got this to say to them. : )

That’s right John J, give em hell! What ever happened to the good movies anyway? Why do I turn around and see crap like “Mr twilight” over here on the movie screen? Next please…

Instead of looking at moves that suck, let’s take a look at something that is fun to do. Anti gun owners hate me and everyone else that owns a 1911, but I’ll be laughing at them when something serious happens and they need my help. I’m sure lifters like you and I will be helping them out left and right. This one’s for the anti gun groups out there!

Great movie : )

Here’s some things to keep in mind when you go take a look.

  • Barrel Length – You’ve got a choice between 3, 4, and 5 inch barrel lengths
  • Finish – You can go blued, stainless or brushed stainless in the colt models
  • Models – 1991 series, Defender, XSE Series, Colt Rail Gun, Combat Elite, Series 70, Gold Cup, Special Combat Government
  • Do you want a cowboy shooter or traditional 1911?

For me I enjoy a traditional government or combat commander model. Maybe later I’ll pick up one of those cowboy shooters.

One thing I really want to drive home is that we stay strong with our firearms. Handling one of these bad boys is a lot easier if we have great strength for loading, unloading and even chambering a round. You don’t want to be in the middle of a situation and then find out that you can’t pull back the slide. No good!

Being jacked and strong while shooting your guns is awesome. I love lifting weights then loading a round or two. Maybe some of you want the big boy toys? Maybe a 50 cal or something huh? Well if you’re going to be carrying that dude around, you’re going to have to be strong. Those things way a ton!

Curious to know who’s lifting and shooting? This lifestyle is awesome and I know you would agree with me. If your a gun owner hit me up with a comment and let me know what kind of firearms you enjoy shooting.

Yesterday something serious is going down with Starbucks and guns! Are you going to be apart of it? If you didn’t hear the story, I’ll get you up to speed. Basically there were a couple of gun owners in Starbucks drinking coffee when a group of anti gun haters asked the manager of the coffee shop for them to leave. So without getting to long winded, Starbucks got caught in the middle of these two groups. The cool thing is that Starbucks does not care who drinks coffee in their shop because they just want to sell coffee.

In other words, We need to support our 2nd ammendement in front of the anti gun owners from the 14th of February and beyond. Oh and buy with your $2 bills.

Stay Tuff!

P.S. Let me know your thoughts on this issue if  your a gun supporter.
